It's been a long week. Spent 2 10-hr days prepping for an Inspection. Than spent another 10hr one having the Inspection. And that was after a Monday From Hell. I was whining about it to my baby sister and she hit the nail on the head.
"Sis. You were married to POS - and his gfriend- for 6 years. You raised those two little boys on your own for another 3. You've gone through much worse things throughout the years. A day or two putting up with this BS is nothing. You can do this."
It's true.
Sometimes it's hard to look at the reality of life.
Butch's advice on our life is really what it's about (I'm paraphrasing - but you'll get the idea):
"At the end of the day we don't get paid more to put up with people and their drama. We don't get paid more for going the extra mile. We don't get paid more for letting them stress us out. We don't get paid more for coming across as the bad guy. We don't get paid more for sweating the small stuff."
Don't worry about it.
Worrying doesn't change anything.
It just stresses me out.
It's true.
