Thanks for Always being there for me:
For taking me to the ER to get stitches when I did a face plant into a pile of bricks after trying to fly like Superwoman off Grammys porch.
For letting me stay behind and see Great Grandma Argo's open casket at her funeral, when you just couldn't...(and when I saw her..I understood why).
For storming into my bfriends house like an Overprotective Father and almost catching me having sex for the first time (because as much as it terrorized me, it also showed me how much you truly cared)
For allowing us to have a wide assortment of pets in our childhood: pig, cow, horse, chicken, turkey, rabbit, dog, cat, fish, gerbil, bird, goat, rock, nieghbor kid.
For taking the family on a road trip to drive from OR to AZ to bring Twin home from college.
For letting me make mistakes as an adult, and catching me when I fell.
For answering the phone no matter what time of day: like when I called at 11pm when my son fell off the bed and I thought he might have broke his nose.
For teaching us about the power of prayer.
For showing us that marriages can really last a lifetime (and that getting remarried isn't the end of the world)
For making fabulous french toast and pancakes at camp.
For playing Daddy to our friends when they needed one.
For showing us unconditional love (like how no matter how crappy your son treats you, you are always willing to take the time to talk to him when he calls)
For giving us advice, no matter how much we didn't want to hear it
For emailing us funny fwds.
For coming to visit us, no matter how far away we've lived: Texas, Korea, Germany, California, Washington, Illinois...
For letting me pour my heart and soul out to you, even when it was a TMI kind of a moment.
For teaching us to fire a gun, play chess, and that nothing tastes as good as a steak on the bbq.
For marrying our mom. Without her there wouldn't be an Us.
For never failing to tell us that you love us.
For being willing to live to 100. Because I really really need you to.
For the past, the present, and the future...
I love you Dadd
