In the rush of incoming rent, and contractors, and afternoon swims, and ridiculously late days, and evenings hauling boxes of unfinished paperwork in and out of the house/office (still not done), and deposits, and phone calls, and lunch times with the kids, and breaking up fights with their friends, and more phone calls, and more incoming rent, and folding laundry, and dishes, and bike rids with kids, and pukey bedding, and changing litter boxes, and mail runs, and re-folding laundry, and scolding children.... I lost a day. I'm not sure if it was Tuesday. Or Wednesday. But by the end of what-I-though-was-Wednesday-and-turned-out-to-be-Thursday I realized I lost a day.
