I was in and out in 24 minutes flat. That's what I call a doc that's short and sweet and to the point. She said it all looks and feels great. She'll call me with the results.
She said dysplasia is something that if/when it recurrs it usually does so within the first few years. That's why it's important to get 6 month paps for the first 3 or 4 and than it can go to once every 1-2 years. After the LEEP procedure I came back for one in June of 09 that was clear... and slacked until now.
But like I said, she said it looks good. When they found the bad cells last time, they could see them without even running any tests. She said that if the tests come back showing any that she'll just send me to the doc that did the treatments in Portland.
I'm not too worried, though. Just a little bit relieved is all.
