I have found a new love. Peel & stick nail polish. Ok, so that's not the official name. But that's what they are. Pre-designed nail polish. You just pick out the design of your flavor. You peel it and stick it. Bend the extra over the tip of your nail. And file off the excess. Presto. Done. These babies are adorable. Easy. And AWESOME!! AND they are durable!
After 10 days of vaccuming, sweeping, dishes (no gloves), weed eating/raking/picking up yard debris (also no gloves) and ... NO CHIPS!!
I never had good luck with plane o jane o nail polish. Sure the pretty pink & white gel nails done in the mall are durable. But they cost a small fortune. And kill a layer of nails. When I take the time to paint them myself ..... they chip within a day or two!!
But not these little pretties!!!
My ONLY complaint was this: the first ones/brand I got (The black/white design above) had 28 in them.
Enough to do fingers AND toes. The second box/brand I got (the blue star ones above) only had 16 in them.
Only enough to do FINGERS. Which was a bummer.... because I wanted to do both.
I do love them.
The blue ones were Sally Hansen Salon Effect. I have to admit I was hesitant. They felt a little thinner than the black ones (which I tried first). But NOT SO. They were as sturdy as the first ones (which I didn't think were the same brand... but now I can't remember which brand they were).
I'm IN LOVE.
And with so many brands to pick from, I'll be chaning designs every pay day! (which are available at most of the local stores around town) **Did I mention the hubster likes them too?
