We got a call yesterday from a girl we gave a kitten to a year ago. She's moving and can't take him with her. He's spoiled & part of the family.  Is there anyway we could take him? He's fixed & has his shots. So we offered to try him out. She isn't moving for at least 2 weeks, so that will give us plenty of time to see if he'll adapt to our pets or not.  And with the kids at gma's until the 1st, he'll either be settled in or gone before they're back.

Look at Killer, hiding in the shelf...

Mocha's not so sure about him. After Killer took a swipe and drew blood, Mocha's been keeping his distance...

Midnight's not so sure of him either. She prefers to glare at him from the hallway.

When Killer first arrived here, he stayed under the kitchen table, crying.
As soon as Mocha saw him, they battled it out.
Killer is bigger than Mocha, so once Killer showed him who was boss - our puppy avoids him.
I dubbed him Killer.
Butch calls him Jack.
Killer than chose to hide under our couch (the one that Mocha's standing on, above) and climb into the lining, and hiss at Mocha and Midnight.
Butch cut the lining out, so he alternated from the game shelf to the floor under the couch.
But he let me pet him when I went to check on him at lunch.
And Jack didn't hiss at me at all... in fact, he even nuzzled my hand.

We were told Jack's favorite toys are capri sun straws and makeup brushes. He came with food, litter, and toys.

Let's see if this new character will fit right in...and let's see if Killer really can be Jack....

Some people make parenting look sooo easy.  They are big fat liar pants.  Parenting is hard.  Kids can be awful.  They don't come with an Instruction Manual.  I started young and have grown up with them.  We have gone through a lot together.  And I would have never been able to do it without the wonderful family I have.  I started blogging because of Twin.  She said that it wasn't nice of me to take a Bad Day out on the Hubby or the Brats.  And so this began.... it's my Rantings From The Time Out Corner... because, let's face it - when I'm full on Cranky Pants... my hubby doesn't fail to make me go Sit One Out for the Team.  (for more see ME above)
