I have to put a sidenote to the last post.
I love my Monsters dearly.
Lately it's 99.5% attitude out of them, and that's in direct response to every word or action thrown their way.
I tell myself they'll outgrow it.
And five mintues around other people's kids and I appreciate mine so much more.
And the days they are going to their parental visits to their dad's I miss them terribly and the silence of the four bedroom split level apartment can drive me insane.
I'm just waiting for them to outgrow the attitudes..... and "poof" back into the loving cherubic angels I know they can be.
Austin likes to ask - Mommy, how do you do it? How do you go from Loud and Angry to Nice and Lovey all in the same minute?
I reply - Austin, how do you do it? How do you go from Mean and Nasty and Calling Me Names to Crying and Apologizing all in one minute? I love you no matter what, I just can only deal with the meanness you throw at me for so long before I get angry back!
