Firstly I want to do an add-on from my last post. I picked them up frombiodad's yesterday to take to gma's & they were all hugs & kisses & loves. Sure they were doing their hands-on-each-other picking-on-each-other hyper-playing-loud thing that little boys do. But all in all they were being my little boys. And they weren't being all wierd and standoffish with me. They weren't holding grudges because mommy has her moody i-cant-take-your-rude-attitudes-anymore moments. And that made me feel so relieved and snapped me right out of my funk...

Awhile back ago (I think it was back in Feb) I found a crochet pattern for a sock monkey (see my above link to my crochet patterns). I finally finished my first one over the weekend. I had him all done and put together - minus one leg. So in our car ride to g-mas yesterday I finished him up. For some reason my original thought was to ship them to my sisters (which I'm still going to make & do)... I didn't think my kids would like them (too girly??). Xav immediately claimed him. MOm - he needs a cape!! Which I whipped out & put an X on the back of him. Austin now wants one too. I'll have his done before he's back from camp.
Yes, I know that the legs aren't the same size (Butch pointed it out). It gives him character!! (I stated)
I'm not taking him to camp! They'll rip his arms and legs off!!
He even hauled it around McDs with him. I told him some little girls were eyeballing it "He drops it, it's mine!" and his response "they can't do that! it has MY name on it!!!"
Austin was so tired... him/I were writing each other messages back and forth on my EReader...
chilling at Camp before it starts... (this morning at 8am!)
Here's the tepee they'll be staying at, at camp. Austin's 2nd year, Xav's first.
