We're getting to do an IEP pshych eval with the school pscyhologist and the principle and the special ed teacher and his teacher and and and etc etc. Xav is the love and joy of the sunrise for me. Unfortunately that goes hand in hand with his poor attention span, extremely high energy level, high anxiety, bouncing off the walls, attention span of a gnat on crack, huggies, lovies, snuggle with mommy... phobia. His teacher says she often gets to touch his shoulder with a "Xav honey, please stop humming/singing" But every teacher he has ever had has fallen in love with his sweet, loving, unviolent to them nature. He excels at math. But his little quircks that we've always worked around has made him a candidate for not only ADHD and adderall, but testing for possibly other developmental disorders. I can't count the amount of stupid questionaires I've had to fill out. If you haven't gone through this (like Angel or Mogie) you can't possibly understand the mind numbing pages filled with lines of "Will speak up if the situation calls for it..." NEVER/SOMETIME/OFTEN/ALWAYS. It makes your eyes twitch and your brain turn to mush. The latest battery I set down with Butch and hammered him with them. He answered with
ALWAYS!
NEVER!
DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION!
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
DEFINITELY!
JUST LIKE HIS MOM!
My favorite questions I found on it
74. Behaves like an angel
105. Is perfect in every way
