It's supposed to be in the 90's today, and for the next five. First heat wave to hit Northern Oregon this summer. Our phone has rang twice today so far (and it's only 10am) from the local police station with an automated warning of the up & coming heat wave. Other cities have been hot for weeks, months even. Our neck of the woods gets hot for more than a day and announcements go over the Emergency Broadcasting system on the tv, and our phones ring off the hook.
Personally I want the cold & rain back.
I've always loved the rain. It washes away the yuckiness. And the trailer park trash stay in their metal boxes.
