I have to do one last quick note for the day....
If it wasn't for Twin I don't think I would have that many friends. I know it sounds bad and rather self-pitying, but it's true. Ask Twin & Roo. It's true. Between the working and the houseful of people, I really don't have the time. And than I meet fabulous people of Twin's - like Shandipants & Angel! And I blow up their fb and email. Really wonderful people!
Anyways...
I met Angel through Twin. Angel and Twin read and comment on each other's blogs.
Angel has an ADHDer like mine and she is wonderful at her ADHD newsletters she emails out.
Thanks to fbook (and her blog and her emailed newsletters) Angel & I have gotten to emailing and messaging more.
Today I must have sounded like a little kid with a new friend...(bare with me here...)
"Austin! Isn't this cool! I'm messaging a girl that lives in SOUTH AFRICA!"
"So what mom. We live in AMERICA."
"Yes, but Austin, it's SOUTH AFRICA! How cool is that? Thanks to the internet and social sites like fbook we can meet and get to know people in other countries!" (He tuned me out after cool....)
"Mom. It's a country. We live in a country. Aunt Ginny lives in Germany. Really. It's. NOT. THAT. BIG. A DEAL."
As I roll my eyes at him and blow up my blackb*rry texting my new friend questions about a country that I don't know practically anything about....
