At 11:15am Butch came in with a pulled back muscle... and crawled up the stairs, into the aptmt, down the stairs & to bed. I got text from him "I smoke in bedroom" ... He literally can't stand up. A few pain pills and a nap later & he was able to hobble up the stairs & out the front door for his afternoon smoke... (He's NEVER smoked in our place.)

At 2:45pm I walked Xav home. He'd been complaining his tummy hurt on the way to school. "It's ok mom. I'll just poop and it'll empty my tummy & I'll drink some water and it'll fill me right back up again."  No calls from the school nurse meant I was hoping the day went well.  He came home with a 101 temp.  I was hoping to ship him to biodad's for the weekend.  That fever better break tomorrow.  I could use the weekend for some much needed Mommy Time.

Austin has been fighting allergies. What's new? He's had them since birth.  Lately he's taken to sucking his snot down his throat. Because at 12 he's allergic to things like kleenex. No matter how much I shove it under his nose.

So I went to Walgrens and loading up on things like 7up, cookies, allergy meds, hot packs for the back and a diet cherry pepsi for me. Got to the checkout to find out I dropped the $40 somewhere between home & there and had to run home to get it. Double grrrr.

It's now 5:18pm and Austin & I are hiding in the office while I'm trying to get caught up on paperwork from earlier. *Sigh*

I'm tired. I just want to do a theraputic sweat-it-out p90x cardio workout. And I haven't even attempted to start a semblance of a dinner yet. Butch can't stand up straight. He's dosed up and back in bed. Xav is miserable on the couch. And all I can think about it how my house wreaks like pets & I really want to yank all the carpet up with my bare hands and slap down some vinyl flooring in it's place.  I ran around and lit a crap ton of candles in hopes of smothering the odors for a few hours.
*double sigh*

Oh Twin. That sucks. I'm glad you were able to medicate and fix Butch!

The chiropractor (two nice grammy ladies Butch loves) popped him, massaged him, sent him home with BenGay & exercises & a perscription to "find a new occupation". *sigh*

Dear Twin... sometimes words come out of my mouth before my brain has a chance to stop them... well aint that the life...

Some people make parenting look sooo easy.  They are big fat liar pants.  Parenting is hard.  Kids can be awful.  They don't come with an Instruction Manual.  I started young and have grown up with them.  We have gone through a lot together.  And I would have never been able to do it without the wonderful family I have.  I started blogging because of Twin.  She said that it wasn't nice of me to take a Bad Day out on the Hubby or the Brats.  And so this began.... it's my Rantings From The Time Out Corner... because, let's face it - when I'm full on Cranky Pants... my hubby doesn't fail to make me go Sit One Out for the Team.  (for more see ME above)
