sneak in... sneak out...

So here's the deal with me and FB.
Since I currently don't have a computer in my house, and my phone is an oldish model....
I do quick FB around my crazy job.
I don't do FB games .... except for I do have the "bday" & "family tree" thing. That's it.
I don't "chat"/IM peoples. OK - so like 95% of the time I don't. There are a few exceptions I'd make... like for my blog followers & close family only. That's it.
I try and drop updates & picture updates sporadically. Since we have many long distance friends/family.
I get on - scroll through updates, comment on some. Maybe update something myself. Maybe look at some new pics I missed. And jump off. Usually no more than 5 min a day. Occasionally if I'm realllly bored I might last a few minutes longer than that. But not many more minutes than that.
I just want people to understand - I'm not being rude or unsocial. It's just how I fb. I love you all!!

Please don't tell me you get crap for that? I do, I do often and it used to really bother me; but now I laugh. Because I don't know if others have realized it, but it's just facebook, LOL.

Sometimes I do. And I'll spend days ignoring the site altogether. But than I'll have a moment on the couch where I'm bored, and I'll slide open my cell phone (that's how old a model it is) and sneak a peak at what's going on with people. I have days where I delete most of the people that aren't blood related to me. And than I'll cave and go through and add a few of them back on. It's nice to be able to see how the long distance friends and family are doing though. But I don't have the energy or patience for other social media outlets (except for blogs of course...). ;)

I get so annoyed with FB I would happily never log in at all... if it wasn't for my business page and keeping it up to date I think I would have bailed on it already.

Some people make parenting look sooo easy. They are big fat liar pants. Parenting is hard. Kids can be awful. They don't come with an Instruction Manual. I started young and have grown up with them. We have gone through a lot together. And I would have never been able to do it without the wonderful family I have. I started blogging because of Twin. She said that it wasn't nice of me to take a Bad Day out on the Hubby or the Brats. And so this began.... it's my Rantings From The Time Out Corner... because, let's face it - when I'm full on Cranky Pants... my hubby doesn't fail to make me go Sit One Out for the Team.
